iPod Emergency Power
An essential accessory for your iPod is
Battery Backup. Why? So that you don't run out of iPod battery power
when there is no power source available to charge your iPod. Have
you ever flown to Europe? The flight can easily last longer than the
charge of the iPod. Or do you like to camp, hike, bike, ski, sail,
or rock
climb? Again, there is no source of electricity to charge your iPod.
But you don't have to worry. There are many choices available to
extend the play time of your iPod. Some are rechargeable, others use
standard batteries.

iPod Battery Backup Reviews
Awesome Battery Booster
This product is, in my opinion, all that anyone could ever want
in an iPod external battery. When I go on long trips via airplane, I
can watch video the whole way across the U.S. with this. The
iBoost
also allows you to never remove your iPod from it again; you can
charge and synchronize your iPod without removing it from the
iBoost,
just drop the whole package into the iPod Dock. My iPod Video 5.0G
30GB is held snugly by the retention arms and the foam spacer pad.
The foam spacer pad is removable to fit larger iPods.

Keep the Music Playing
Sometimes I like to play my iPod all night long in places where
there is no electricity. Like on a camping trip or on an ocean
crossing or just a two day sail. Yep, you guessed it, I'm a sailor,
spent several years on a boat and let me tell you, when you are
standing watch on a dark night your iPod can be your best friend.
Nothing like John, Paul, George & Ringo or even Mozart to help you
wile away the hours. But those nights can be long and if you've been
sailing awhile, your Pod's battery is gonna run out of it's charge
and with nowhere to plug it in, what will you do? What will you do?
The answer is, of course.
TuneJuice. This little goodie costs about
twenty bucks, uses disposable or rechargeable 9-volt batteries. You
know, the same batteries you used to put into your transistor radio
all those years ago, and with one of those batteries it'll keep your
Pod running for an additional seven or eight hours, plenty of time
to get you through the night. Take it from me, I know.

Fantastic Battery Saver!
I bought this
backup battery pack for a recent trip to Europe and it
is amazing. I also used rechargeable batteries and it worked like
crazy. I never ran out of power and I used it almost every day for
music and video.
